Sher Sparano, President and Founder

Sher founded BAS in 1992 and has served as the Company’s President since that time. Prior to founding BAS, Sher enjoyed a highly successful career as a senior executive working in all facets of the health care industry. The experience of having sat on all sides of the healthcare / benefits table gives Sher many unique advantages in negotiating the best possible contracts for BAS clients. This well rounded view of the industry is a cultural driver for BAS. Joe Sparano, Controller and Founder

Joe is a Founder of BAS and has served as the Company’s Controller since inception.

David Capo, Senior Account Executive

David joined the BAS team in 2007 and has over 25 years of healthcare and benefits industry expertise. As Senior Account Executive, David works closely with our employer clients to assess and understand their benefits needs. His expertise is in multi-year benefit strategic planning, as well as client and insurance carrier relations.

Sarah Clarke, Account Manager

Sarah has been part of the BAS team for over 4 years, and brings deep insurance expertise to her role as Account Manager. She works with our small employer clients, coordinating open enrollment, providing ongoing service, and renewal presentations. Sarah also is a primary point of contact with employees, addressing service and/or claim issues that may arise.
